JOGJA NATIONAL MUSEUM (JNM) is a site for contemporary artist to present their discourse. Leading Indonesian artists such as Ugo Untoro, S. Teddy D, Arahmaiani and Agus Suwage have contributed their works for the public to see. JNM’s involvement in the Indonesian art scene is relatively new as the site project started in 2005. But, gradually the space have been finding its way to present young talents such as Irwan Huntarto, Domas Yudistiro, Ali Basarudin, to take it to further arts interaction, Jogja National Museum have also staged the first contemporary music concert from another strong music artist - Risky Summerbee & the Honeythief. Jogja National Museum is a non-profit institution working to make various discourse on visual arts in its wide interpretation.
